MIDTEST

well. after months of regularly listening to our wonderful lecturers lecturing us, we finally have to face *horror music playing* MIDTESTS. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! we were so scared so we studied our butts real hard (yes, we study real hard only when we’re agitated) hihhhi. well anyways, to get good scores, the “kosher” way, we read our book intently, we borrowed our friends’ notes, etc etc.

our first midtest was marketing. all of us came before eight and we were waiting by the room where the midtest was held. we were so panicked because it was an oral test and it was taken from 5, yes, FIVE chapters!! oh no! panicking, trying to practice the right answers, attempting to recollect thoughts from last night’s memorizing sessions, we wait and wait and wait and WHERE IS MR. SILIH!?!?!?!?!?! one of friend, Ms.CC, thought she was late so she ran from the parking lot and got there, with a face of dehydration, to be so thankful, and a little amazed that the midtest hasn’t started. after one of our classmate, Papi, called Mr. Silih….we unveiled the secret that he FORGOT that there was even a test. however, he hurriedly came, we did the test, and we prepared for the General English session we have right after.

First day was already an “experience” for us all.

well. another chaos happened when we were approaching our advertising midtest. our lecturer, Mr. sihombing a.k.a among, sent out question summaries alias kisi2, to some of our friends. they were supposed to pass them along. somewhere along the way, this system broke down, so each of us was at the mercy of our good friend, Ms. Silvi, who was nice enough to forward the question summaries to our emails. *we love you silvi* after we were done with the test, we found out that we actually didn’t do it up to among’s standards, because our scores were only so-so. we were so disappointed to hear that. but o well. we heard that some of the other classes didn’t even get the summaries, so were thankful enough.

during our Communications Science midtest, our dear dear friend, Ms. CC wasn’t allowed to do the test, which made her, and all of us, very sad. all of that happened only because she hasn’t fulfilled an administration thing. it’s weird because another girl who is in our class hasn’t done it either yet she was allowed to do the test. *hmmmm.

our last midtest was mass communication. Ms. Hershinta gave us slides on what she had presented to us earlier. however, it was rather hard to study because she explained the slides in Bahasa, and yet she gave us slides in English for studying. she also told us to buy a textbook in which only one chapter is to be studied from. the others were taken from another book that none of us have. we looked for the book and it wasn’t even at the campus’ libraries. *confused

well anyways…we only studied from the slides and we crossed our fingers really hard that we would get a satisfying scores. we were hopeless. hehhhehhe.

well. that’s about all of the “turmoil” during our midtests. we just hope we still get good scores though. *crossing our fingers….and toes*
